Skinny Fiber is a diet pill that was created to assist people who are trying to lose weight so that they will be able to more effectively reduce their excess fat levels. The official website makes it very clear that this product is marketed specifically to women, with hyper-female color choices and images. The marketing for this product specifically states that it is “NOT a weight loss pill”, but that it is an alternative to other products on the market that it calls “harmful diet pills”, or gastric surgery. At the same time, it does not actually say what it would call itself.
That site claims that these diet pills will help a user to be able to reduce her overall appetite, which will make it easier to follow a reduced calorie diet that will, in turn, promote easier weight loss. The ingredients that make up this product are, according to the manufacturer, a combination of herbal substances and certain enzyme powders.
The ingredients listed on the website at the time that this review was written were: glucomannan, caralluma fimbrita, cha de bugre, and a blend of 7 enzyme powders, which include: amylase, protease, lipase, glucoamylase, papain, cellulase, and bromelain. The claim made on the site is that the majority of people aren’t obtaining adequate levels of healthy enzymes from the foods that they consume. Therefore, by supplementing them, they will be able to promote better digestion, detoxification, improved immune function, and fat storage prevention. It also claims that when these enzyme levels are at their ideal levels, the effects of exercise become more apparent.
Unfortunately, while all of these claims may be true, none of these ingredients have been proven to be effective for measurable weight loss results by an adequate body of large medical studies that are published in peer review journals. For that reason, it is quite unlikely that the product would necessarily be recommended by a doctor. At the same time, the ingredients are also unlikely to do any real harm, when taken properly, so it is at the user’s discretion whether or not she chooses to give it a try.
With all of the products available in this category, it’s tough to come up with a reason to recommend Skinny Fiber for weight loss purposes, but at the same time, it looks as though it would be relatively harmless for the majority of dieters. Consulting a doctor, first, is highly recommended.
