Carb-Ease Plus Reviews

Carb-Ease Plus reviewsCarb-Ease Plus is a nonprescription weight loss supplement that has been labeled a “full-spectrum product” by its manufacturer. It is supposed to give a dieter support in managing their weight and in enhancing their body composition. The manufacturer of this product is AdvoCare International, a network marketing company that has made a number of different diet and sports supplements.

The purpose of Carb-Ease Plus is to help dieters by breaking down fats and, more particularly, carbohydrates, so that the body will no longer be capable of absorbing them and using them. In this way, their calories are negated and it is easier to lose weight as though a reduced calorie diet is being followed. That said, the manufacturer does recommend that this product be taken along with a calorie reduced diet, so it is clear that this is meant to enhance a diet that is already being followed and not to replace traditional weight loss efforts.

Of course, all of those benefits are possible only possible if the formula is made of ingredients that can accomplish those goals. At the time that this review was written, the manufacturer’s official webpage for Carb-Ease Plus was listing the ingredients in this product as being: Phase 2 ® white kidney bean extract (seed – Phaseolus vulgaris), ID-alG™ extract (Brown Seaweed – Ascophyllum nodosum) , Green coffee extract (Svetol ®) (fruit – Coffea canephora robusta P.), Gelatin, Grape seed extract, Microcrystalline cellulose, Silicon dioxide, and Magnesium stearate.

Many of the ingredients in this product are commonly seen in the non-prescription weight loss industry in carb blockers. That said, none of these ingredients can actually be considered to be proven. The brown seaweed does contain a chemical called fucoxanthin, which has been researched and may help to contribute to weight loss, but that research may not carry over to the form of brown seaweed that was used in this product.

In order to use this Carb-Ease Plus according to the directions, it recommends that 2 capsules be taken immediately before eating a meal that will be high in carbs, such as one containing pasta, potatoes, breads and/or rice, among others. It is recommended that the product not be taken on an empty stomach or between meals. Interestingly, the official website says that it is appropriate for people aged 12 and up, whereas most diet pills – including many by this manufacturer – are appropriate only for people aged 18 and up. It is unclear why this could potentially be safe for teens when most other diet pills are not.
